Paddy that is soaked, steamed and dried before milling. The process sets starch firmly, so the rice cooks non-sticky, keeps more nutrients and yields more per kilo — the everyday rice of many import markets.

Sella is a deeper parboiled, golden-grained rice (Golden Sella when polished bright); Steam parboiled is the classic amber grain. Both are long-shelf-life bag-trade grades.

Nigeria and East Africa, GCC countries and institutional/aid programmes are the core parboiled markets — we structure 50 kg bag containers for these trades.
