Buyer FAQ
White sesame seeds whose thin dark hull has been mechanically removed, leaving the bright “pearled” kernel — milder, whiter and faster to grind than natural seed.
Hulling removes the bitter skin, giving tahini and halva a smoother flavour and paler colour — hulled seed is the premium input for both.
It keeps better dry and cool, but has less natural protection than whole seed — we pack and ship it on shorter, cleaner programmes.
